Julia Street – Numerous contemporary art galleries are located here, making it the city’s premier destination for art collectors as well as those who just want to browse.
Magazine Street – A shopper’s paradise housed in ornate 19th century buildings. You could easily spend a day shopping in New Orleans’ Magazine Street, wandering around and browsing the various shops, boutiques and art galleries. Look out for bargain antiques, folk crafts, dolls, clothing and gift shops.
Riverwalk Marketplace – A fairly standard shopping mall with a full range of specialty shops and panoramic views of the Mississippi.
