Swiss Transport Museum

A big hit with the old and young alike, this one of its kind museum showcases different modes of transport. Don’t miss the amazing simulation of the railway crossing at the Gotthard Pass with a dozen mobile trains.

Historisches Museum Luzern

It was once a storehouse of weapons in the year 1560 and was later reconstructed in 1983 and then in 2003 as a modern exhibit which houses medieval art and sculptures. The museum has a Gothic-style stone monument which is the main centrepiece.

Richard Wagner Museum

Named after the famous musician of 19th century music- Richard Wagner, the museum is created inside his former residence. Many noted personalities like Franz Liszt, Friedrich Nietzsche, Gottfried Semper and King Ludwig II of Bavaria often visited his house in Tribschen during his hey days.

Bourbaki Panorama

It records the most heart-wrenching portrayal of the German French war. A stunning masterpiece measuring 112 metres by 10 metres, this circular painting is one of the most glorious preserves of European history.

The Rosengart Collection

One of the recently established museums in Lucerne, the Rosengart museum is indeed an art lover’s delight. Displaying the works of renowned artists Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee, the museum has an unmatchable collection of paintings by 21 other artists (including names like Cézanne, Chagall, Miró, Pissarro of 20th century).
