Walking is a delight in the largely pedestrianised Old Town. For points further afield, catch city buses from outside the Hauptbahnhof at Bahnhofplatz. All-day tickets for zone 10, covering the city centre and beyond, cost Sfr8.20; single-ride tickets cost Sfr4.10. Swiss Travel Pass holders travel free. There’s an underground car park at the train station.

Lake cruise departures are from the quay in front of the train station; these shuttle passengers to various points around the lake and also head out on excursions.
