Bicycle

Cycle Scene rents bikes and accessories, including good-quality road-racing bikes (€45 a day).

Bus

Most places are within easy walking distance of the centre. Single bus tickets costs €2.05 each; a day pass is €5. Buy all tickets on the bus.

Car

Street parking requires scratch-card parking discs (€2 per hour, in force 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday), available from many city centre shops. Be warned – traffic wardens are ferociously efficient. There are several signposted car parks around the central area, with charges around €2 per hour and €12 overnight.
