Cork St, Patrick festival
The most vibrant and colourful display to be seen on the streets of our city, Cork’s parade features up to 3,000 members of communities from all walks of life across the city – sporting groups to dance schools, new communities to our long-established brass bands, and annual special guests from around the world.
Cork Jazz Festival
Held every year since 1978, this is Ireland’s biggest and most prestigious jazz festival. Big names such as Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, and Stephane Grappelli have played here over the years, with more than 1,000 performers from all over the world taking part annually. Cork Folk Festival
A long weekend of foot-stomping fiddle, hushed ballads and big-name headline acts such as Martin Simpson, Dick Gaughan and Donovan.
International Choral Festival
A five-day celebration of choral music held in the City Hall and other venues.
Cork World Book Fest
A huge book festival with loads of authors; sponsored by the Cork City Library.
Cork Pride
As the name suggests, Cork Pride is a week-long gay pride celebrations held in the city in the summer months.
