Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow
Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow held in the last week of March is an aerial extravaganza over the festival of Easter. With over 80 aircrafts flying, static and sport aircraft displays, the focus is mainly on WWII aircraft like the Spitfire, Corsair, Kittyhawk, Avro Anson to name a few. Food and trade stalls and many other ground exhibits for the aviation buff or family looking for a special day out.

Rhythm and Alps Music Festival
R&A is a music festival that runs from 29 December to 1 January. Just 15 minutes from Wanaka and 40 minutes from Queenstown, festival goers can camp onsite or catch daily transport back to Wanaka or Queenstown.
