Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary spans across a large area of 44 acres in the commune of Brisbane. It was opened in the year 1927 and is recognised as the oldest koala reserve. The sanctuary derives its name from the lone hoop pine which was planted by the owner named Clarkson. There are about 130 koalas which have been safeguarded in the wildlife reserve. There are rich species of the wild animals in this sanctuary. Some of them are the kangaroos, koalas, reptiles, wombats, Tasmanian devils and echidnas. The Wheel Of Brisbane

Wheel of Brisbane is set up at a height of great height of 60 meters. It was established in the year 2008 to the north of the South Bank Parklands.
